Flights and long-distance routes are computed using WGS-84 spherical trigonometry to accurately display the true shortest flight path across the globe.

The globe incorporates high-resolution satellite imagery from NASA's Visible Earth project, including seamless day/night atmospheric transitions and realistic cloud layers.
Multi-Modal Transit Rendering

Instantly calculates total distance traversed, equivalent laps around Earth's equator, percentage to the Moon, and unique country entry counts.
